Story Edit Studio is an AI-powered content planning workspace for creators. We help you organise your media, write captions, and schedule posts across social platforms. We're a small, independent product — not a faceless corporation.

We only collect what we genuinely need to run the service:

• Account information — your name and email address when you sign up.
• Payment information — handled entirely by Base44 Payments. We never see or store your card details.
• Content you upload — photos, videos, captions, and hashtags that you create within the app. This is your content, and it belongs to you.
• Profile settings — things like your niche and brand voice, which you provide to help the AI give you better suggestions.
• Usage data — basic information about how you use the app (e.g. which features you use most) to help us improve the product.

Here's exactly what we do with your data:

• Provide and improve the Story Edit Studio service
• Generate AI-powered caption and hashtag suggestions tailored to your brand
• Send you occasional product updates and announcements (you can opt out any time)
• Process your subscription and handle billing via Base44 Payments
• Respond to your support requests

We do not sell your data. We do not use your content to train AI models without your explicit consent.

The photos, videos, captions, and other content you upload to Story Edit Studio are yours. We store them securely to power the app's features, but we have no claim over them. You can delete your content — and your account — at any time.

AI-generated captions and suggestions are created in response to your inputs. You own anything you choose to use from those suggestions.

We keep your information within a small circle of trusted services that help us run the product:

• Base44 — our hosting and infrastructure provider
• Base44 Payments (Wix) — for secure payment processing
• AI providers — anonymised prompts are sent to generate captions and analyse your uploads

We don't share your personal information with advertisers, data brokers, or anyone else. If we're ever required to disclose information by law, we'll do our best to notify you first.

We use minimal, essential cookies to keep you logged in and make the app work properly. We don't use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.

We may use basic, privacy-friendly analytics to understand how people use the app — things like which pages are visited most. This data is aggregated and never tied to you personally.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data — including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure cloud storage, and access controls. No system is 100% bulletproof, but we do our best and act quickly if anything goes wrong.

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we'll remove your personal data within 30 days. Some anonymised, aggregated data (like usage statistics) may be retained longer to help us improve the product.

You're in control of your data. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
